We teach sequence dancing every Thursday night with beginners from 6pm and advanced from 7pm to 9pm. It is a very friendly crowd who enjoy and have fun dancing. We teach at your pace! And when you’re ready you can then join us on one of our Saturday social dances and party nights!

Try something new, come along and see for yourself, it’s the easiest way to start dancing.

Group 1 – 2nd FRIDAY
Group 2 – 4th FRIDAY of each month
10:00 – 15:00

Group 1 (CCTG 1)
We work on Textile Challenges every 3 – 4 months to produce quilts, based upon a theme; size and techniques are chosen by members.
Group 2 (CCTG 2)
We explore/practise various ‘contemporary’ techniques which can be used in combination with fabrics using a variety of textiles. We also hold Workshops with internal and external tutors.

The combined Groups have held two Exhibitions at Cranwell Village Hall and St Andrew’s Church, with another planned in the near future. We have also exhibited quilts with Grosvenor Shows.

We are an enthusiastic, friendly group who support and encourage each other on all levels – gathering and sharing information, facing the challenges of new techniques and simply enjoying extending our own artistic abilities.

NG34 Model Railway Society

FRIDAY
19:00 – 22:00

Initially, the club started as a few friends working on a layout in a shed down the garden. However, more people heard about us and became involved, and we soon outgrew the shed!
So, on the 18th June 2024 the NG34 Model Railway Society officially formed down the local pub!
Not just about railway modelling, our club is much about being social with friends. We understand that living in rural Lincolnshire can be quite isolating and a strain on mental health, so we hope to be inclusive and accessible to all who want to come. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been building model railways for years (either by yourself or in a club), or if you’re brand new to the hobby – as long as you want to get involved then that’s all we care about.
The founding members have a wealth of knowledge surrounding the hobby, be it track laying, control systems, or landscape modelling; if you have a question then we want you to come and ask.
You can get in contact us via the links below or feel free to pop in for a chat
